2008-09 Season Preview
 

The Community Colleges of Spokane women’s basketball team finished with a 16-10 overall record and an 8-6 record in the Eastern Region.  The Lady Sasquatch narrowly missed the NWAACC tournament by one game.  The season was definitely one of many highs and lows.  The highlight of the year was winning the Shoreline Turkey Shootout by defeating Lane 84-80.   Lane would go on to win the NWAACC Championship with a 26-4 overall record.  The next tournament of  the year was at Everett where we lost in the championship game against Lane.  Kelsey Stillar was selected as an all-star in every tournament that we played and was MVP of the Shoreline Shootout.  Bianca Arellano and Kami Clark also earned all-tournament team honors during the non-league schedule.  Stillar was also selected to the First Team Eastern Region, and Richelle Daily was selected to the Second Team Eastern Region.
