Sasquatch Place Third in Olympic College Invite

Led by sophomore Jason Azzarito’s two-day total of 146 (72-74), CCS earned third place in the 10-team tournament.  Azzarito’s third place individual finish was followed by Jonathan Lumper at 154, Matthew Strandberg at 157, Todd Strate at 158, Robert Lane at 159, and Jordan Reeder at 162.

Due to bad weather conditions, the Sasquatch are just getting going and this tournament was a great opportunity to size up the competition heading into the spring season.  “Overall the guys hit the ball really well; we just had some trouble with taking big numbers on a few holes and finishing out our rounds strong.  Hopefully with some improved weather, we will be able to spend a lot more time working on our short games and I am confident that our scores will drop,” stated Coach Kramer.

Bellevue won the team title, followed by Southwest Oregon taking second.  The Sasquatch got third with a two-day total of 613 (304-309).  Medalist for the tournament was Richard Lee of Bellevue CC. with a 138 (66-72).
