2013 Fall Preview

The Community Colleges of Spokane Men's Golf Team will have big shoes to fill heading into the 2013-14 season.  Spokane won 15 consecutive tournaments dating back to the 2011-12 season.  The streak came to an end when Skagit Valley topped the Sasquatch by 1 stroke in the Bandon Dunes Invitational.

The talented line up will rely on the experience from returning all conference performers Evan Omelia, Cooper Wright and Cole Lorenzo.  Each of the three golfers won at least one tournament during their freshman season.  Returner Daniel Cruzen had at least 7 rounds of par or better during his freshman season.  Also returning is Tof Chapin who has a rigorous summer tournament schedule in preparation for the upcoming season.

Spokane is adding one of the more talented incoming freshman classes in school history.  Brady Calkins (W.F. West HS, Chehalis, WA), Zack Spencer (Mt. Spokane HS) and Nick Thurston (Mt. Spokane HS) were all highly ranked high school seniors in Washington.  John Duffin (Coeur d'Alene HS) was one of the top seniors in Idaho.  Coach Kramer and the Sasquatch have high expectations for the incoming class and are very exited to see the improvements of the successful returning sophomores.
