Men's Golf Season Preview/Review
2008 Season Preview

The young Sasquatch golf team, led by the only returning sophomore from last year’s team, Jason Azzarito hopes to use the experience gained from the fall season to their benefit this spring.
The team was led this past fall by newcomers Brian Copley (Shadle Park HS), Jonathan Lumper (Southridge HS, Kennewick, WA) and sophomore Jason Azzarito (Kettle Falls HS).
After a fall season that included four trips outside the region, the Sasquatch look forward to four tournaments here in Spokane. The season gets underway on March 27th, with a match against North Idaho College at Hangman Valley Golf Course. That match is quickly followed up by a trip across the state to Bremerton to play the beautiful Golf Mountain Complex at the Olympic College invitational.
The Olympic invitational will be one of the highlight trips this spring season along with the April 27-28 trip to Richmond, B.C. for the Douglas Invitational. However, the May 11-12 trip to golfing paradise Bandon Dunes, located on the Oregon Coast in Bandon, OR to play on the 1st, 3rd and 9th best rated public golf courses in the United States will be a great experience for the team.
Spokane is hosting the annual Bigfoot Invitational on April 13-14 at Esmeralda and MeadowWood golf courses and once again expects a very competitive showing from the teams throughout the NWAACC.
The season ends with the NWAACC Championships being hosted by CCS and being played at Hangman Valley and Indian Canyon golf courses on May 18-19.
