2014 Fall Preview

The Community Colleges of Spokane Men's Golf Team will have big shoes to fill heading into the 2014-15 season.  Spokane is coming off of one of the more dominating runs in NWAC golf history, winning nearly 85-90% of their tournaments over the past 4 seasons.  Spokane graduated 4 sophomores who all moved on to play golf at 4 year schools.  NWAC Player of the Year, Evan Omelia is at Washington State University, 1st Team All-NWAC, Cole Lorenzo is at Utah State University, Cooper Wright is at the University of Idaho and Tof Chapin is at Texas Lutheran University.

Spokane will use a combination of returning sophomore with championship experience and incoming freshman with a lot of talent to once again contend for the regular season and NWAC championship tournament titles.

Zack Spencer, Nick Thurston and John Duffin we all instrumental in last year's success.  Michael Almonte redshirted last year and looks to be a team leader on and off the course.  Spencer was a 1st Team All-NWAC selection last season, while John Duffin earned 2nd team recognition.

Jake Verlin, Tanner Kovacevich, Jordan Bass and Brandon Barnes all have a high level of tournament experience and will be looked upon to contribute right away for the Sasquatch.
