Cross country was established in the fall of 1965, and since then our men’s program has won 24 NWAC titles, including 10 in a row from 2001-2010, and been runner-up 15 times.  Since being named head coach in 2009, Sean McLachlan has been voted Coach of the Year in the NWAC seven times and has coached 38 Community College cross country All-Americans to go along with seven individual champions and six conference athletes of the year.

Our facilities are among the absolute best in the country. We have two world-class tracks, a junior Olympic size pool, two fitness centers, three weight rooms, and some of the best cross country trails in the state of Washington.  Spokane Falls Community College sits at the doorstep of the beautiful Riverside State Park and its endless running trails.
