2007 CCS Women’s Volleyball Season Preview

There are six veteran sophomores returning to the roster:

Miranda Gouin, Setter from Spokane, WA (Ferris HS)
Miranda is a returning setter for the Sasquatch. She has great leadership skills, a key element to being a setter. Miranda knows how to run the floor and will help maintain our offense. With great hands and a winning attitude she will no doubt help direct and lead the 2007 Sasquatch to a winning season.
Danielle Jacobson, Right Side from Rathdrum, ID (Lakeland HS)
Danielle is our “utility” player. Not only can she be put in any position but she can do it well. Danielle will be a defensive threat for the Sasquatch. With one of the toughest float serves around, look for this young lady to ACE our opponents off the court.
Annie Kitchens, Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist from Spokane, WA (Mt. Spokane HS)
Redshirt Freshman
After battling some illnesses and injuries in 2006, Annie Kitchens is back on the court. Annie is a defensive menace to any team we might face. She has a great ability to read defensively. Annie is another one of those valued players that can be put anywhere on the court and get the job done.
Ashlee Lupfer, Outside Hitter from Spokane, WA (University HS)
Ashlee Lupfer is one the Sasquatch top returners. Ashlee is a threat to any team from anywhere on the court. Both offensively and defensively, Ashlee is an all around athlete. With her competitive spirit and winning attitude, Ashlee will help in every way to guide the Sasquatch.
Bryn Smith, Defensive Specialist from Chewelah, WA (Jenkins HS)
Look for Bryn Smith to be all over the court this season. Bryn made huge strides at becoming a better defensive player during our spring season training. She has all leadership qualities on and off the court, which makes her a well respected athlete by her teammates as well as her coaches.
Brandy Sonderland, Right Side from Kennewick, WA (River View HS)
Brandy is one of those athletes that people remember. She is a powerhouse on offense as a lefty. She is very competitive and just wants to win. Brandy will again be a “go-to” player for us this season. Her dominance coming from the right side will be noticed by all. She is a key player to the 2007 Sasquatch.
