Women's Cross Country Team History and Records

CCS fielded its first women's cross country team in the fall of 1978, and since then our program has won 14 NWAACC titles to go along with thirteen runner up finishes.  Since being named head coach in 2009, Sean McLachlan has been named Coach of the Year in the NWAC seven times and has coached 38 Community College cross country All-Americans to go along with seven individual champions and six conference athletes of the year.

Our facilities are among the absolute best in the country. We have two world-class tracks, a junior Olympic size pool, two fitness centers, three weight rooms, and some of the best cross country trails in the state of Washington.  Spokane Falls Community College sits at the doorstep of the beautiful Riverside State Park and its endless running trails.
