The Community Colleges of Spokane is proud to announce that Clint Hull has been hired as the new men’s basketball coach.  Hull takes over the reins from Mike Burns who has taken an assistant coaching position the University of San Diego. Hull initially came to Spokane to work under former Head Coach Eric Hughes, who left to take a job with the Toronto Raptors.

Hull spent last year as the Associate Head Coach for the Sasquatch helping lead them to a 30-2 record on the season and a trip to the NWAACC Championship game. Prior to that, he was on the coaching staff at Irvine Valley College in Southern California. Hull spent two years coaching at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California after finishing a successful playing career at nearby Concordia University. While at IVC working under Head Coach Jerry Hernandez, Hull was in charge of defense and perimeter player development. In two years, the Lasers compiled a 35-29 record in the Orange Empire Conference.
 
Hull was a star both on and off the court for Concordia. As a player, Hull earned All-American honorable mention honors. He was also a two-time honoree as an NAIA Scholar All-American, Majoring in biology and graduating with a 3.93 grade point average. Hull transferred to Concordia from Eastern Washington University, where he played for Ray Giacoletti and Mike Burns.

In his junior year, he played a pivotal role for Concordia in helping lead them to the NAIA National Championship game by averaging 10.7 points per contest. During his senior season, Hull emerged as the top scorer for Concordia, averaging 15.5 points per game, helping drive the Eagles run to another Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament Championship and national tournament appearance.  As a senior, Hull led the conference in free-throw percentage, hitting 89.9 percent of his shots at the line and was also the conference leader in three-point shooting, making 49.5 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.

Hull also had a standout high school career, playing for his father Mike at Pateros High School in Pateros, Washington. Hull completed his master’s degree in physical education from Azusa Pacific University in 2008.
