High school awards: Second Team All-GSL; Best Defensive Player at State 4A Championships

Coach’s comments: We were so fortunate to get such a talented shortstop in Heather. She can actually play three infield positions and three outfield positions. Though she says she can pitch too, we haven’t agreed to that yet. She is a knowledgeable player, simply has a real understanding of the game. Even as a freshman she should make her presence known in the league; look for her to lead the team in many offensive and defensive categories.
