Four Spokane Ladies Place in the Top 10 at the CBC Invite
The Eastern Region match was held during the first day of the tournament. Spokane beat CBC by one stroke to continue there road to an undefeated league season. The CCS ladies are now 9-0 in league play with one more league match to be played Thursday, May 15th at Walla Walla.
The course played tough with some interesting pin placements. The CCS ladies played smart and finished the tournament eight strokes lower than second place CBC.
The Community Colleges of Spokane's women's golf team had a solid effort from top to bottom at the CBC Invitational. The CCS ladies were led by Katie Sorenson who finished third overall. Kelsey Harting finished tied for seventh, Chelsea Kenner finished ninth and Ky Lee Schmunk finished tenth overall.
The next tournament for the CCS ladies is the SWOCC Invitational at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon.
