Two Spokane Cross Country Runners Named NWAACC Runners of the Week

Brad Serdar, Spokane
A sophomore for the Sasquatch, Serdar finished seventh overall last weekend against schools such as Santa Clara, San Francisco University and Boise State, at the Pier Park Invitational hosted by the the University of Portland. His time of 26:04 over 8k was a personal best. Spokane Head Coach Erik Anderson says "Brad is a talented runner but has improved tremendously since his Freshman season when he did not even qualify for the NWAACC championship race! He is now poised as one of the top men in the NWAACC this Fall."




Amy DurranceWomen's Runner of the Week

Amy Durrance, Spokane
With 12th place finish overall at the Pier Park Invitational, Durrance beat some solid competition from the four-year level and several of the NWAACC schools in attendance. Spokane Head Coach Erik Anderson remarks "Amy is a sophomore that has improved considerably since her first season. An all-american award winner in both cross country and track last year, she is poised as one of the top women distance runners in the NWAACC this Fall."
