When Claude came on board in 1994, Spokane went from being a good sprint team to a team that dominated the sprints in the NWAACC. Since 1994 Spokane has scored 1126 points in sprints and relays at championship meets, including a record 112 points by the men and women (men-55 and women-57) at the 1999 NWAACC championships. In 2008 the women scored 73 points for an all-time high. Claude has also coached a total of 43 Individual Conference Champions and three conference record holders.
Claude is more than qualified for this assignment with his background as a great collegiate sprinter and as a national runner for his home country of Trinidad and Tobago.
