Position:
Men's Basketball Assistant Coach

Marcus Stennes enters his third season as an assistant coach for the Sasquatch.  His duties include post-player development, recruiting, scouting, and day-to-day operations.

He graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2006, where he majored in business administration and human resource management, and is currently working on his master’s degree in education. He played for the Community Colleges of Spokane under former Bigfoot Head Coach Eric Hughes from 2002 to 2004.  He had a career high 14 points against Tacoma Community College his sophomore year as a Sasquatch.

Coach Stennes graduated from Pateros High School in 2002, where he teamed with Coach Hull for two years.  He had a very successful high school career and was voted to the Washington First Team All-State “B” league team in 2001-02, and still holds the single season average of 27 points per game.

Coach Hull on Stennes:
“Being a former player here, Marcus brings experience about not only the NWAACC, but specifically about Spokane to our program. In addition, he has a great relationship with our players and is very in tune with the chemistry of our team.”
