Moscow High's Cooper Wright Sign's Letter of Intent
Moscow High School (ID) Senior, Cooper Wright has signed a letter of intent to join the Community Colleges of Spokane Men's Golf Program in the fall of 2012. Cooper is a three-year letter winner for Moscow High School.
"We are extremely excited that Cooper chose CCS to continue is education and golf career. He is a talented golfer and I believe his best rounds are ahead of him. He has consistently improved each year and will contribute to our team's success from the moment he steps onto campus," said Coach Scott Kramer.
Cooper has enjoyed success in high school and summer junior tournaments. He is a two-time state qualifier in the competitive Washington Junior Golf Association summer tournament series. This past year he earned a 15th place finish at the state tournament with a three round total of 222. His scoring average for the WJGA circuit was 74.8.
As a junior in high school, Cooper placed 10th in state with a two-round total of 149.
Coach Kramer stated, "Cooper has an opportunity to compete for an Idaho State High School Championship this spring and we wish him the best of luck. He recently shot a 2-under par, 70 at the Links Golf Club in Post Falls, ID and he has been playing very well."
