CCS Gets a Taste of it's Own Medicine in 85-60 Loss

In their previous 8 wins, the Lady Sasquatch have used a tall and beefy frontline to control the glass at both ends of the floor.  That usually translates well into 2nd chances on the offensive end and fastbreak opportunities that lead to easy buckets.

The UCC Riverhawks would have none of that, as they dominated the middle all afternoon en route to the Championship of the 2007 Whatcom Crossover.  UCC earned a 42-30 rebound advantage and shot an incredible 56% from the floor.  CCS shot poorly (31%) and failed to defend Riverhawk shooters.  UCC’s Kristi Fallin led all scorers with 21 points on 8/14 shooting, and Deanna Tupai held down the post with 16 points on 7/10 shooting.

Leading scorers for the Sasquatch were Richelle Daily with 11 and Liz Beardslee with 10.

CCS will take a 10 day break for the holidays before returning to action against the Chokers of Grays Harbor College.
