Sasquatch Swept in Walla Walla

The CCS Baseball Team was swept in an Eastern Region doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. Spokane dropped the first game 8-3. Ryan Reitmeier made his first start of the season going three innings. Reitmeier allowed two runs on three hits. He struck out four in the game. Casey Mitchell took the loss for Spokane.  Spokane scored all three of their runs in the third inning on RBI singles by Matt Starr and Cody Reeves. Kelly Gau led Spokane with two hits in the game.

Walla Walla won game two 4-2. Starter Mike Richard took the loss for Spokane. Richard went four and two thirds innings. Richard allowed four runs on four hits. He struck out four and walked one batter. Spokane scored single runs in the third and fourth innings. Ian Atkinson was Spokane’s leading hitter with two hits in the game.
