CCS Rallies in Second Half to Win Its Region Opener at BBCC

The Lady Sasquatch overcame a ten point halftime deficit and a hostile Moses Lake crowd to open region play with a 78-65 win over the Lady Vikes of Big Bend CC.   Sophomores Ashlee Michelson (16), Kellee Neal (14), and Ren Mallory (12) led the scoring effort.  As a team, CCS refused to miss a free throw, going 20 of 25 from the stripe for the game.  On the defensive end, the Sasquatch out rebounded the Vikes 52 to 40, including a 25 to 14 advantage on the offensive glass, while forcing 23 BBCC turnovers. 

The Sasquatch will be at home for the next two games versus WVC Wednesday night and YVCC on Saturday afternoon.
