Purser Leads Spokane to Second Game Win Against BMCC

Mark Purser threw seven plus innings and had two hits to lead Spokane in a win against Blue Mountain CC.  Spokane won the night cap 7-1. Purser had five strikeouts in the game while allowing four hits and one earned run. Spokane scored all seven of their runs from the sixth inning on in the game. Kelly Gau lead the way for Spokane at the plate with three hits and a run scored. Mark Purser had a triple and two hits in the game. Cody Reeves also chipped in with two hits and a double.

Game one went back and forth between the two teams with Blue Mountain winning 13-11. Spokane scored five runs in the third inning to take the lead. Blue Mountain came back with five runs in the sixth inning and four more in the seventh off of relievers Rex Ireland and Paul Smith.   Mark Purser had three hits in the game with a double and a triple. Braden Friesz added two hits for Spokane.

Spokane continues their home stand against Treasure Valley CC on Wednesday April 16th at 1pm. Spokane is 4-7 in Eastern Region play.
