Coach’s comments: Krista is an outstanding first baseman. She has a solid glove and we counted on her last year to catch every ball thrown her way. Numerous times she bailed us out with great digs. She started half of the season at first and is looking to be a full-time starter this season. Offensively, if Krista has a good year at the plate and continues to improve as a linear hitter, she could play at the four-year level.
