Connor Claeys and Dylan Maine Lead Balanced Attack as the Sasquatch Win Fourth Tournament in a Row

The Community Colleges of Spokane Men's Golf team earned their fourth victory in as many weeks and fifth overall tournament title of the season.  "We have tremendous depth and all of the players know they can count on each other.  Dylan, Andrew and Grahm have consistently been near the top and winning tournaments, but it is the depth of our team that has led to our success.  Connor proved this past week, that all six of our players in the line up are capable of contending to win medalist during any given tournament.  One through six, we are very solid," commented Head Coach Scott Kramer.

Connor Claeys (77-73 - 150) lead the way with two days of impressive golf.  The course conditions are unlike anything the Sasquatch play all year.  Firm, rolling hills, sloped greens and stiff winds protect the beautiful golf courses at Bandon Dunes.  The four courses on the property are regularly voted in the nation's top 100 golf courses.  Dylan Maine continued his stellar play with rounds of 74-77 - 151.  Maine was again the first round leader and ran into some really untimely bad breaks on his closing holes to secure another top 10 performance.

Roller (81-76 - 157), Vandenberg (81-77 - 158) and Koehler (82-77 - 159) all carded top twenty performances for the Sasquatch.

Kramer added, "I am very proud of our guys.  Winning four tournaments in a row against good competition is very difficult.  This tournament was a true test of mental toughness with the extremely high winds, thick fog and challenging golf courses.  When playing golf at Bandon Dunes, conventional golf goes out the window and the players that can hit a variety of creative shots and can hang in their mentally usually score the best".

Spokane will travel to Bremerton, WA next week to defend their NWAACC Championship from a season ago.
