The 2011 Big 9 Player of Year, Cole Lorenzo Has Signed a Letter of Intent to Play Golf at the Community Colleges of Spokane
Community Colleges of Spokane Men’s Golf Coach, Scott Kramer has announced the signing of Cole Lorenzo to a letter of intent to join the men’s golf team in the fall of 2012. Cole is currently a senior at Richland High School in Richland, WA.
“We are very excited to have Cole join our golf program. He has the qualities that make him a great teammate and competitor. Cole has the ability and experience to make an impact as a freshman,” commented Coach Kramer.
Cole had multiple top three finishes including two tournament victories over the past two high school seasons. He has shot many competitive rounds in the high 60’s and low 70’s and for his efforts was named the 2011 Big 9 Conference MVP. “Earning MVP honors in a conference like the Big 9 says a lot about Cole’s golfing ability. Year after year, it is one of the more competitive conferences in the state,” said Kramer.
Cole’s team, the Richland Bombers is one of the favorites this season to win the Washington State 4A Golf Championship. His team finished third a season ago and returns the majority of last year’s state participants.
