Spokane Women’s Soccer Earns Multiple East Region Honors; Philp Named Coach of the Year
The NWAC announced its 2025 East Region honors this week, with Spokane’s women’s soccer earning several top awards, including MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
The Northwest Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Women's Soccer All-Region awards this week, and Spokane's success on the field this fall was well reflected across the East Region honors.
Head Coach Dan Philp was named East Region Coach of the Year after guiding the Sasquatch to another standout season, including an East Region Championship and a run to the NWAC semifinals.
On the field, Cora Murray was voted East Region Most Valuable Player, recognizing her dynamic play and leadership at forward throughout the season. Hadley Teed earned Defensive Player of the Year honors for anchoring Spokane's back line, helping the Sasquatch record one of the strongest defensive marks in the conference.
Spokane was also heavily represented on the All-Region First Team, with Cora Murray and Mia Miconi earning recognition at forward, Ana Thompson at midfield, and Hadley Teed and Maddie Card on defense.
Additionally, Kami Ellis and Chloe Bond were named to the All-Region Second Team, rounding out Spokane's impressive showing across the awards.
The honors cap an outstanding season for Spokane, who continue to demonstrate excellence both individually and as a team across the NWAC.
