Fall & Winter Schedules Released for Sasquatch Athletics
Spokane Colleges Athletics is excited to announce that the official 2025–26 competition schedules are now live for women's soccer, men's soccer, volleyball, cross country, golf, men's basketball, and women's basketball.
SPOKANE, WA — With the start of the school year right around the corner, Spokane Colleges Athletics is getting ready for another exciting season. Fall and winter schedules are now live, and teams are gearing up for everything from preseason matchups to conference openers. Fans, families, and recruits can now check out the full lineup of games on our new athletics website and start making plans to support the Sasquatch all season long.
The release coincides with the launch of the department’s newly redesigned athletics website, which will serve as the central hub for game schedules, rosters, results, and team news throughout the academic year.
Men’s soccer kicks off with the annual alumni game on August 13, followed by a home doubleheader on August 16 against Evergreen State (10 a.m.) and Carroll College (5 p.m.). The team then heads west for five road matches to finish August before returning home for two more non-league games. Conference play begins September 10 at home against Treasure Valley at 2 p.m.
Women’s soccer opens its season on August 15 and plays four straight road games before returning to Spokane for a non-conference matchup with Walla Walla on September 7. Their conference season begins at home on September 10 at 4:15 p.m. against Treasure Valley.
Men’s and women’s golf will compete in three non-league tournaments this fall in preparation for the NWAC spring season. The team will travel to the Yellowjacket Invitational (October 6–7), the Highline College Invitational (October 12–13), and the Lewis-Clark Fall Invitational (October 20–21).
Cross country gets underway on August 29 at the Clash of the INW. Spokane will host its own meet, the Sasquatch Open, on October 24 before both the men’s and women’s teams compete in the NWAC Championships on November 10, right here in Spokane.
Volleyball opens its season with an alumni game on August 15 at 6 p.m. before heading out for the North Region Challenge. The team returns home to co-host the North Idaho Crossover on September 5–6, and then wraps up preseason play at the NWAC Crossover Tournament in Everett. Conference play begins September 19 at home against Yakima Valley at 6 p.m.
Men’s basketball starts with three home scrimmages in October, beginning on October 25. The team hosts its alumni game on November 6 at 7 p.m. at Spokane Falls Community College and the annual Sasquatch Classic tournament at Spokane Community College from December 5–7. The East Region schedule opens January 7 on the road at Walla Walla at 5 p.m.
Women’s basketball begins its season with a scrimmage against the Gonzaga University Club team on October 29 at 7 p.m. at SFCC. The team will host its alumni game on Thursday, November 6 at 5 p.m. at SFCC, then continue non-conference play with a home matchup against Clark on November 19 at 5:30 p.m. and Edmonds on November 22 at 3 p.m. The Sasquatch will also host the NWAC Crossover Tournament December 12–14 before beginning conference play January 7 at Walla Walla at 7 p.m.
