Bio
Kuula was from Central Valley High School in Spokane, where he was an outstanding high school football star. He came to Spokane Community College to play fullback for Head Coach Dwight Pool in 1968. His stellar play at fullback helped the Spartans to their undefeated season and the WAACC Championship. Kuula was named to the 1968 and the 1969 WAACC First Team All Star Team as a Fullback, one of the few players in league history to win back-to-back First Team honors. He continued his playing and academic career at Oregon State University.
