Bio

Luana Sealey joined Spokane Colleges in 2022 and works with multiple sports, including women’s soccer, men’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf, cross country, and track & field. She oversees injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for student-athletes, along with coordinating supplies, maintaining the training room, and providing care while traveling to competitions.

Sealey’s background includes working with professional athletes. In 2021, she completed a sports medicine internship with the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, assisting with injury evaluation, treatment, and game preparation. She later worked at Banner Health Pro Sports Clinic in Arizona, where she created rehabilitation programs for Major League Baseball players and oversaw athletic training coverage for Arizona State University club sports.

A graduate of Washington State University, Sealey earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology. While at WSU, she gained hands-on experience with women’s volleyball and tennis, and completed athletic training rotations at the University of Idaho and Lewis-Clark State College.

She is certified by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers, licensed in Washington, and holds American Heart Association BLS and First Aid certifications.
