Bio
Raylynn Bucher joined Spokane Colleges Athletics in 2024 and currently serves as the department’s Sports Information Director. In this role, she manages everything from social media and game-day coverage to photography and branding, overseeing the full communications strategy for all 13 sports. Most recently, she spearheaded the launch of the athletic departments new website, guiding the project from design to launch.
In addition to her work on campus, Raylynn plays a key role during NWAC championship season, acting as the Sports Information Director for the NWAC Golf Championships and Assistant SID for the NWAC Track & Field Championships. She also serves on the Spokane Colleges Athletics Hall of Fame Committee, helping recognize and celebrate the legacy of past Sasquatch legends.

She earned both her Master’s in Business, Design & Innovation and her Bachelor’s in Sport Management from Linfield University in Oregon, where she also minored in Leadership, Ethics, and Diversity. During her time at Linfield, she was a defender on the women’s soccer team and a consistent contributor on and off the field. While pursuing her degrees, Bucher gained hands-on experience in athletics through event operations, communications, and digital content roles. She helped with media day coordination, social media coverage, and conference championship events. Her passion lies in elevating the student-athlete experience and strengthening the brand presence of college athletic programs.
A Spokane native and graduate of East Valley High School, Raylynn was a multi-sport athlete, lettering five times in soccer and softball and a four-time WIAA Distinguished Scholar–Athlete. She served as a team captain and earned all-league and all-state recognition during her career.
Bucher combines her playing experience, academic background, and creative skillset to help elevate the student-athlete experience and the Sasquatch brand across all platforms.
