Sasquatch Surge Past Everett Behind Red-Hot Shooting
Behind a 25-point double-double from Grant Olsen, the Sasquatch controlled all four quarters in a 93–79 victory over Everett.
Spokane delivered its most efficient offensive performance of the young season on Saturday afternoon, rolling past Everett 93–79 at the Myklebust Gymnasium to even its record at 2–2.
The Sasquatch opened the game on a tear, shooting 59.4% from the field and building a 52–36 halftime lead behind dominant interior play and crisp ball movement. Spokane never trailed and maintained control throughout the second half, matching Everett's pushes with timely scoring and balanced production across the lineup.
Grant Olsen anchored the offense with a standout 25-point, 11-rebound double-double, shooting an impressive 10-of-12 from the floor. Javonte Boles followed with 19 points on an efficient 8-of-11 shooting night, helping Spokane control the paint and the glass.
Eloy Chaparro added 10 points and five rebounds, while Kymel Williams, Jasahn Redmond, and Aidan Kelly provided a spark off the bench, combining for 22 points. Spokane's depth showed as 10 different players scored.
Defensively, the Sasquatch forced 14 Everett turnovers and held the Trojans to just 26 rebounds, limiting second-chance opportunities. Despite Everett's strong perimeter shooting (10-of-23 from three), Spokane's efficiency proved too much to overcome.
The win caps a solid weekend split for Spokane and sets momentum heading into the next stretch of nonconference play.
