Spokane Men's Basketball erased a halftime deficit with a dominant second-half performance, storming past Highline 95–89 on Friday evening to improve to 7–2 on the season.
After trailing 45–30 at the break, the Sasquatch flipped the game entirely in the final 20 minutes, erupting for 65 second-half points behind efficient shooting, aggressive play inside, and steady execution down the stretch. Spokane finished the night shooting 55.4 percent from the field and outscored Highline by 21 points after halftime.
Javonte Boles delivered a career night, leading all scorers with 30 points on 13-of-20 shooting while adding 11 rebounds for a double-double. His presence in the paint anchored Spokane's comeback and helped swing momentum early in the second half. Grant Olsen followed with 23 points on an efficient 8-for-12 performance, continuing his strong start to the season.
Spokane's balance showed throughout the box score. Eloy Chaparro finished with 10 points, five rebounds, and five assists, while Jack Del Mese added 10 points. Jasahn Redmond contributed across the board with eight points and four assists, and the Sasquatch bench provided timely minutes as the game tightened late.
Defensively, Spokane picked up its intensity after halftime, forcing turnovers and limiting Highline's second-chance opportunities. The Sasquatch also controlled the glass in the second half, finishing with a 35–29 rebounding edge overall and recording 22 assists on 36 made field goals.
