Spokane wasted little time setting the tone Wednesday evening, building an early lead and never looking back in a 93–52 win over Wenatchee Valley at Spokane Falls Community College.
The Sasquatch jumped out to a fast start, scoring 44 points in the first half and extending the margin even further after the break. Spokane outscored the Knights 49–15 in the second half, using defensive pressure and balanced scoring to pull away.
Javonte Boles led the way with an efficient performance, finishing with a game-high 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting while adding eight rebounds. Grant Olsen followed with 13 points, while Jasahn Redmond chipped in 12 points and six rebounds.
Spokane's depth played a major role, as the bench accounted for 33 points. Carson Way provided a spark off the bench with 13 points, four rebounds, and four steals, while Evan Nomee knocked down three three-pointers to finish with nine points. Maven-Bell Toleafoa added seven points and five rebounds in limited minutes.
Defensively, Spokane held Wenatchee Valley to just 35 percent shooting from the field and forced 18 turnovers. The Sasquatch also controlled the glass, outrebounding the Knights 43–30, while committing just seven turnovers of their own.
