Spokane fell 77–68 to Treasure Valley Community College on Saturday afternoon at home, battling throughout but unable to overcome a strong second-half push from the Chukars.
Treasure Valley entered the matchup near the top of the conference standings and showed why, shooting 43.3% from the field and knocking down nine three-pointers. The visitors led 37–31 at halftime before extending their advantage in the second half.
Despite the loss, Spokane had strong individual performances, led by Grant Olsen, who posted a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Olsen went 10-of-19 from the field and controlled the glass on both ends, adding three steals in 36 minutes of action.
Javonte Boles contributed 10 points, while Carson Way and Eloy Chaparro each added nine off the bench. Chaparro was efficient from the line, converting five of six free throw attempts, and dished out two assists.
Spokane held a 37–30 rebounding edge and finished with 16 assists on 26 made field goals, but Treasure Valley capitalized from the perimeter and at the free-throw line, shooting 88.9% from the stripe to help secure the win.
