FAVORITE QUOTE:

“In this life, you will have troubles. Take heart, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO DO BEFORE A MEET?

I always pray, giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for the gift of running, for the opportunity, and for Jesus to be reflected through my competition.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING APART OF THIS TEAM?

The family that comes with it. We got each others back.

WHY SPOKANE COLLEGES?

It’s a good program, and honestly I felt the Lords hand over the decision guiding me to come to Spokane Colleges.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?

Being a part of ministry somewhere with the opportunity to lead kids and teenagers to Christ.

WHO IS ONE OF YOUR ROLE MODELS?

One role model I have is Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He was a theologian and German pastor who was brought to death because of his faith in Jesus. He has taught me much and opened my eyes to the reality of following Jesus. He has taught me the cost of being a Christian, and what it looks like to seriously take Him as my Lord and Savior.

WHAT HOBBIES OR INTERESTS DO YOU HAVE OUTSIDE OF YOUR SPORT?

I love music and am learning a few different instruments. I love playing other sports for fun with friends. Reading. Video games. Serving the Lord or attending church or young adult events.

HOW HAS BEING AN ATHLETE AT SPOKANE COLLEGES SHAPED YOUR PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC LIFE?

I haven’t experienced much yet as an athlete, but it’s allowed me a space to work hard in what I do and has given me an opportunity to meet new people and join FCA which has been a huge blessing. One day at a time I am continuing to grow as a man, athlete, student, and disciple.
