Hughes and Darrell Named NWAC Athletes of the Week
The pair earned conference recognition after delivering top performances on the track and in the field for Spokane.
Two Sasquatch student-athletes have been named NWAC Athletes of the Week, recognizing standout performances in track and field.
Freshman Talan Hughes (East Valley HS, Spokane Valley, WA) earned Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors following a strong showing that set the pace for Spokane on the track. Hughes continues to make an immediate impact in his first collegiate season.
Sophomore Jediah Darrell (Lincoln HS, Tacoma, WA) was selected as Men's Field Athlete of the Week after delivering a top performance in field competition. Darrell's consistency and competitive edge have been key contributors to Spokane's success this season.
The weekly honors highlight the depth and talent within Spokane's track and field program as the Sasquatch continue their spring campaign.
