Strong Team Effort for Sasquatch at 50th Charles Bowles Invitational
Facing a deep and competitive field, the Sasquatch men turned in solid performances at the Charles Bowles Invitational, led by Anders Nielson’s.
The men's cross country team put forth a commendable effort at the 50th Charles Bowles Willamette XC Invitational, held on October 4th at Bush Park in Salem, OR. The team faced stiff competition but demonstrated determination and resilience throughout the race.
Leading the team was Anders Nielson, who secured 64th place with an impressive time of 25:16.52. Following closely was Nate Russell, who finished 81st with a time of 25:33.94. Alex Wright crossed the finish line in 91st place, clocking in at 25:42.15. Jacob Nicholls also delivered a solid performance, taking 108th place with a time of 25:53.80. Rounding out the team was Nolan Oyler, who completed the course in 26:10.76, earning 122nd place.
The race at Bush Park provided a challenging course, but the team showed great perseverance and teamwork. Their performances reflect their hard work and dedication, and they will undoubtedly use this experience to continue improving in future competitions.
