Spokane softball earned a split on the road against the Walla Walla Warriors, taking game one 7-3 before falling 10-0 in the nightcap.

After a quiet start, Spokane used a big middle-inning surge to take control and secure the opener.
The Sasquatch broke through in the fourth inning, manufacturing a pair of runs to flip momentum before erupting for five runs in the fifth. Timely hitting powered the rally, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Cadence Hyndman and another clutch hit from Danika Curtis.
Spokane totaled 13 hits in the game, with Emma Oergel leading the way with three hits and an RBI. Hyndman and Curtis each drove in two runs, while Zoie Maughan added an RBI as part of the balanced offensive effort.
In the circle, Cassy Seifert delivered one of her strongest performances of the season. The right-hander went the distance, allowing just four hits and three runs (two earned) while striking out 16 to earn the win.
The Warriors pushed across a run in the third and added two more in the sixth, but Spokane's five-run fifth inning proved to be the difference.

Game two saw the momentum swing in favor of the Warriors, as Walla Walla jumped out early and never looked back.
The Warriors put up four runs in the second inning and added two more in the third to quickly build a commanding lead. They continued to capitalize on free passes and Spokane miscues in the fourth, extending the advantage to 10-0.
Spokane was limited offensively, managing just two hits on the day from Samantha Rensvold and Phoebe Holm.
Rensvold took the loss in the circle, while Kynlea Toner provided relief. Walla Walla's pitching staff held Spokane off balance throughout, not allowing a run across five innings.
