WHAT IS ONE THING YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO DO BEFORE A MEET?
Time with the Lord in prayer am writing a prayer on my bib just surrendering the outcome of the race!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING APART OF THIS TEAM?
Just the way they encourage, uplift and cheer you on. You feel so welcomed and at times you wish it was a 4 year just to get two more years! The coaches are amazing and treat you as one of their own doesn’t matter if your having a hard or good day they are alongside you for the whole thing!
WHY SPOKANE COLLEGES?
They had an amazing ASL program, and also gave me a nice boost in track and more years under my feet before moving on.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
Hopefully using my degree either in a school setting and also a mom!
WHO IS ONE OF YOUR ROLE MODELS?
Outside of family I’ve loved and admired Sydney McLaughlin and just how she is able to bring the Lord into her sport and not make it about her.
WHAT HOBBIES OR INTERESTS DO YOU HAVE OUTSIDE OF YOUR SPORT?
Hiking/backpacking, beach volleyball, playing guitar, and spending time with family!
HOW HAS BEING AN ATHLETE AT SPOKANE COLLEGES SHAPED YOUR PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC LIFE?
It’s definitely been super growing and brought me out of my shell. Learning how to get comfortable being uncomfortable and finding a joy and love for school again thru teachers, trainers and coaches!!
