In an exhilarating volleyball match, North Idaho College emerged victorious against Spokane in a closely contested five-set battle. The match, which took place at Spokane Falls Community College, saw North Idaho College clinch the win with a final score of 3-2.
The match began with Spokane taking the first set convincingly, 25-16, showcasing their strong start. However, North Idaho College quickly regrouped and responded by winning the second set 25-18, leveling the playing field. The third set was a nail-biter, with Spokane narrowly edging out North Idaho College 25-23, reclaiming the lead.
Not to be outdone, North Idaho College fought back in the fourth set, securing a 25-18 victory and forcing the match into a decisive fifth set. The final set saw North Idaho College's win 15-11, sealing their 3-2 victory over Spokane.
Looking at Spokane's performance, their hitting percentages fluctuated throughout the match. They started strong in the first set with a .321 hitting percentage, but struggled in the second set, dropping to .069. They regained some momentum in the third set with a .316 hitting percentage, but their efficiency declined in the fourth and fifth sets, with percentages of .129 and .056, respectively.
