Spokane Sweeps Doubleheader Against Walla Walla
Spokane baseball put together a dominant day at the plate, sweeping the Walla Walla Warriors on April 8 with an 11-1 win in game one followed by a 17-7 victory in the nightcap.

Spokane used a big middle-inning surge and dominant pitching to take control early and cruise to the win.
After two scoreless innings, the Sasquatch broke through in the third, capitalizing on defensive miscues while Trent Woodhouse delivered a key RBI knock and Castle Keaton added a sacrifice fly.
The offense exploded again in the fourth with four runs, highlighted by another two-RBI single from Woodhouse as Spokane took advantage of multiple Walla Walla errors to extend the lead to 6-0.
Spokane continued to add on with runs in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings, finishing with 11 runs on 10 hits. Harper Dissmore led the way with three hits and two RBIs, while Woodhouse drove in three and Keaton added two hits and an RBI.
On the mound, David Barnes was dominant, tossing six no-hit innings while striking out seven. Peyton Hayes allowed the lone run in relief before Andrew Fox closed it out.

Spokane carried that momentum into game two, putting together one of its most explosive offensive performances of the season.
The Sasquatch answered an early Walla Walla run with a four-run second inning, highlighted by RBI hits from Chase Edwards, Keaton, and Thomas Malcolm to take a 5-1 lead.
After Walla Walla chipped away to make it a one-run game, Spokane pulled away late. The Sasquatch scored two in the sixth and three more in the seventh before erupting for seven runs in the eighth inning to put the game out of reach.
Spokane racked up 17 hits in the win, with multiple players turning in big performances. Malcolm led the way with four hits and three RBIs, while Keaton drove in four runs on three hits. Edwards added three RBIs, and Max Workman and Ty Shepard each contributed three RBIs in the offensive outburst.
On the mound, Dylan Greenough-Groom earned the win, allowing four runs over five innings, while Braiden Boydhandled the final three innings in relief.
