Game One: Spokane 9, Treasure Valley 8 (11 innings)
It took extra innings, but Spokane found a way.
After falling behind 2-0 in the first inning, the Sasquatch battled back and eventually surged ahead with a five-run sixth inning. Ty Shepard sparked the rally with a two-RBI single, while Trent Woodhouse and Max Workman followed with run-producing hits to give Spokane a 7-2 lead.
Treasure Valley refused to go quietly, capitalizing on miscues and timely hitting to plate four runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth, taking an 8-7 advantage.
Spokane answered in the ninth, as Shepard delivered again with an RBI single to tie the game at 8-8 and force extras.
In the 11th inning, Logan Spradling set the table before Castle Keaton delivered the game-winning RBI single, sealing a 9-8 victory.
Spokane totaled 17 hits in the win, led by Keaton's four-hit performance. Shepard drove in four runs, while Workman added two RBIs.
Game Two: Spokane 12, Treasure Valley 4
The nightcap was all Spokane.
Treasure Valley struck first with two runs in the opening inning, but Spokane quickly flipped the script. A three-run first inning highlighted by a two-RBI triple from Thomas Malcolm gave the Sasquatch an early lead they would not relinquish.
Spokane broke the game open in the third, scoring five runs, including a three-run home run from Ty Shepard. Malcolm and Chase Edwards each added RBIs in the inning as the lead ballooned.
The Sasquatch continued to pour it on, adding two more runs in both the fourth and fifth innings. Harper Dissmore's two-run home run in the fifth capped the scoring for Spokane.
On the mound, Sam Weaver was dominant, striking out nine over six innings while allowing just two runs (one earned). Spokane pitching combined for 10 strikeouts in the win.
