Sasquatch Earn Another Clean Sheet in Conference Play

Spokane continued its strong form with a composed 2–0 road victory over Walla Walla on Saturday afternoon. The Sasquatch capitalized on key moments to take control of the match, remaining efficient and disciplined on both ends of the field.

The Sasquatch struck first in the 31st minute when Cipriano Acosta Jr. broke through the defense and finished unassisted to give his team the lead. The Sasquatch doubled their advantage late in the second half, as J. Trinidad Hernandez netted an unassisted goal in the 81st minute to seal the win.

While both teams produced limited offensive opportunities, Spokane's precision in front of goal made the difference. Goalkeeper Noah Jordan earned the clean sheet with two key saves, anchoring a back line that allowed Walla Walla few looks at the net.

The match saw its share of intensity, with Spokane receiving six yellow cards, to Acosta Jr., Juan Diaz, Kevin Ng, Santi Gonzalez, Hunter Anderson, and Riley Galloway, while Walla Walla's Tommy Vargas was booked in the first half.

Walla Walla managed eight shots on goal, with goalkeeper Aaron Lowry making six saves, but Spokane's finishing proved too clinical. The Sasquatch once again demonstrated their composure and ability to capitalize on limited chances, securing another important conference win on the road.
