Spokane Women's Basketball moved to 2–0 on the season with an 80–46 win over Edmonds on Saturday afternoon at Spokane Falls Community College.
The Sasquatch built a 14–7 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 43–24 at halftime behind strong rebounding and steady defensive pressure. Spokane continued to pull away in the second half, winning both quarters and finishing with a 47–26 advantage on the boards.
Camia Howard led the way with 19 points and five rebounds on 8-of-14 shooting. Alahondra Perez added 15 points and five boards, while Karis Santucci delivered a double-double off the bench with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Stephanie Chadduck posted nine points and eight rebounds, and Shalene Ervin added seven points.
Defensively, Spokane forced 29 turnovers and held Edmonds to 30.9 percent shooting and just 3-of-20 from beyond the arc. Edmonds was led by Kiana Hoolulu with 13 points and Ava Uusitalo with 12.
