Sasquatch Shut Out Tacoma to Move Into NWAC Championship Game

Spokane Women's Soccer delivered a standout postseason performance, powering past Tacoma 3–0 and earning a well-deserved place in the NWAC Championship match.
After a tightly contested first half, the Sasquatch came alive in the final 45 minutes. Mia Miconi ignited the scoring in the 72nd minute and struck again just four minutes later, giving Spokane the momentum and control of the match.
Cora Murray added the third and final goal in the 83rd minute, finishing a pass from Addie Reidt to put Spokane ahead.
Tacoma tallied 13 shots with five on target, but goalkeeper Danika Curtis was sharp all evening, turning away every challenge to secure the clean sheet. Spokane made the most of its opportunities, placing six of seven shots on frame and earning a 4–2 advantage in corner kicks.
With the semifinal victory, Spokane improves to 13-1-1 and advances to the NWAC Championship match on Sunday at 4:30 pm, where the Sasquatch will battle Highline for the title.
