Spokane Community College's men's soccer team continued their unbeaten run in dominant fashion, defeating Blue Mountain 5-0 on October 22, 2025, at Spokane Falls Stadium. The commanding win improved the Sasquatch to 7-0-1 on the season, while Blue Mountain fell to 6-6-0.
From the opening whistle, Spokane controlled possession and tempo. Lucas Briet opened the scoring in the 22nd minute off an assist from Austin Armstrong, giving Spokane a 1-0 advantage heading into halftime.
The second half belonged entirely to the Sasquatch. Cipriano Acosta Jr. extended the lead in the 55th minute with a finish set up by Briet, before the two swapped roles just six minutes later as Briet netted his second goal of the match. Riley Galloway added to the tally in the 64th minute on a pass from Hunter Lloyd, and Aimar Alvarez capped off the scoring in the 85th minute with a goal assisted by Erick Garcia.
Defensively, Spokane was near flawless. The back line and goalkeeper Noah Jordan held Blue Mountain without a single shot on goal, marking another clean sheet for the squad.
Statistically, Spokane's dominance was evident. The Sasquatch outshot the Timberwolves 19–2, with eight shots on target and six corner kicks. Blue Mountain, meanwhile, was limited to just two attempts and committed seven fouls compared to Spokane's three.
With the win, Spokane continues to build momentum as one of the top teams in the NWAC, showcasing a balance of sharp offense, discipline, and defensive organization heading into the final stretch of the season.
